The Calgary Flames announced on Wednesday that they have re-signed defenseman Adam Pardy. Length and terms of the deal were not disclosed. Last season with the Flames and his first in the NHL, Pardy appeared in 60 games, scoring one goal and nine assists for 10 points and 69 penalty minutes. Not a bad signing for the Flames, as Pardy is a physical defenseman who plays with some grit. Given the depth on their blueline next season, he will likely be a sixth or seventh defenseman.
