The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced that they have re-signed right wing Jared Boll to a two-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 68 games last season with the Blue Jackets, he had four goals and three assists for seven points and 149 penalty minutes. Not a bad signing for Columbus, as Boll plays with lots of grit and toughness and has plenty of agitating qualities. However, don't expect to see him score very many points over the next two seasons, as he doesn't have very much offensive upside.
