Blues Re-Sign Hensick, Strachan, Reaves

The St. Louis Blues have announced that they have signed newly acquired center T.J. Hensick to a one-year contract. The team also announced that they have re-signed defenseman Tyson Strachan to a one-year deal and right wing Ryan Reaves to a one-year, two-way contract. Financial terms of all three deals were not disclosed. Hensick was acquired by the Blues on June 17 from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for center Julian Talbot. The Hensick signing is not a bad one for St. Louis, as he has plenty of speed and some offensive upside. Strachan and Reaves are really just depth signings and will likely spend most of next season in the minors.
