Bruins Sign McIver, Re-Sign McKelvie
The Boston Bruins have announced that they have signed defenseman Nathan McIver to a two-year contract and re-signed defenseman Zach McKelvie. The financial terms of McIver's deal were not disclosed, while the exact length and financial terms of McKelvie's contract were not disclosed. These are really just depth signings for the Bruins, as McIver and McKelvie will likely spend most of next season in the minors. McIver is the more likely of the two to play in the NHL next season. If he does, he will provide plenty of defensive depth and toughness on the blueline.
