Canucks Sign Forward Bolduc to One-Year Contract
The Vancouver Canucks have announced that they have signed center Alexandre Bolduc to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. He had no points in 15 games last season with the Canucks. He also appeared in 13 games with Manitoba of the AHL, scoring two goals and one assist for three points. He missed considerable time last season with a shoulder injury. Not a bad depth signing for the Canucks, as Bolduc has some decent two-way skill and plays with some toughness. If he makes the team next season, look for him to be playing on the checking lines.
