The Carolina Hurricanes have announced that they have re-signed center Nick Dodge to a one-year, two-way contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 80 games last season with Albany of the AHL, he had 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points. Really just a depth signing for the Hurricanes, Dodge will likely spend most of next season in the minors. If he does play with the Hurricanes next season, it would probably be on the fourth line.
