The San Jose Sharks have announced that they have signed defenseman Sean Sullivan to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 77 games last season with San Antonio of the AHL, he had 12 goals and 37 assists for 49 points. He has yet to appear in an NHL game. This is really nothing more than a depth signing for the Sharks, as Sullivan is likely to spend most of next season in the minors, where he will provide lots of offensive blueline depth for Worcester of the AHL.
