Bruins Acquire Juraj Simek from Lightning for Levi Nelson
The Boston Bruins announced yesterday that they have acquired left wing Juraj Simek from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for center Levi Nelson. In 21 games with Norfolk of the AHL, Simek has three goals and six assists for nine points, and will now report to the Bruins' AHL affiliate in Providence. Nelson has four goals and three assists for seven points in 14 games with Providence and will now report to Norfolk. This is really just a depth move for both teams, as Simek and Nelson will likely play the rest of the season in minors. Although, the move will add depth, organizationally, at center for the Lightning and on the wing for the Bruins.
