The St. Louis Blues have announced that they have signed defenseman Danny Syvret to a one-year contract worth $525,000. In 10 games last season with the Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers, he had one goal and one assist. He also appeared in 59 games with Syracuse and Adirondack of the AHL, scoring 10 goals and 30 assists for 40 points. This is really just a depth signing for the Blues, as Syvret will likely spend most of next season in the AHL. If he sees any time with St. Louis, it will likely be as an injury replacement.
