The Phoenix Coyotes announced on Wednesday that they have signed left wing Paul Bissonnette to a two-year contract extension worth $1.475 million. He would have been an unrestricted free agent next summer. In 48 games last season with the Coyotes, he had one goal and 71 penalty minutes. Not a bad depth signing for the Coyotes, as Bissonnette is a hard-working player on the ice who plays with lots of grit and toughness. Look for him to continue to fill the enforcer role over the next few seasons.
