Kings Acquire Forward Modin from Kings
The Los Angeles Kings announced today that they have acquired left wing Fredrik Modin from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a conditional draft pick. In 24 games this season with the Blue Jackets, he has two goals and four assists for six points. He has missed 40 games this season with knee and foot injuries. He will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Not a bad trade for the Kings, as Modin brings plenty of veteran depth to the team. He also brings lots of offensive skill, especially on the power play, and plenty of two-way play to the team.
