Flyers Re-Sign Forward Matt Clackson
The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that they have re-signed left wing Matt Clackson to a new contract. The exact length and financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 60 games last season with Adirondack of the AHL, he had two goals and four assists for six points and 174 penalty minutes. He has yet to appear in an NHL game. This is really just a depth signing for the Flyers. Clackson doesn't have much offensive upside, but he does play with a lot of grit and toughness. He will likely spend most, if not all, of next season in the minors.
