Flyers Sign Defenseman Jancevski to Two-Year Deal

The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that they have signed free agent defenseman Dan Jancevski to a two-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 78 games last season with Texas of the AHL, he had three goals and 20 assists for 23 points and 71 penalty minutes. This is really just a depth signing for the Flyers. Jancevski has good size and plays with some toughness, but will likely spend most of next season in the minors, unless there is an injury to the Flyers' blueline.
