NY Rangers Acquire McCue from Ducks for Zaborsky
The New York Rangers have announced that they have acquired defenseman Matt McCue from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for left wing Tomas Zaborsky. In 10 games last season with Manitoba of the AHL, McCue had one goal and 24 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 19 games with Bakersfield of the ECHL, scoring two assists and 68 penalty minutes. Zaborsky played in 43 games last season with Assat Pori of the Finnish Elite League, scoring nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points. This is really just a depth move for both teams, as both players likely won't see any NHL action next season.
