The Anaheim Ducks have announced that they have signed defenseman Danny Syvret to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 21 games last season with the Philadelphia Flyers, he had two goals and two assists for four points. He also appeared in 15 games with Adirondack of the AHL, scoring five goals and eight assists for 13 points. This is really just a depth signing for the Ducks, as Syvret is likely to spend most of next season in the minors.
