Senators Re-Sign Foligno, Bass
The Ottawa Senators have announced that they have re-signed left wing Nick Foligno to a two-year contract worth $2.4 million. The deal averages out to $1.2 million per season. The team also announced that they have re-signed center Cody Bass to a one-year, two-way contract worth $500,000 at the NHL level. Foligno isn't a bad signing for the Senators, as he has some two-way skill and works very hard on the ice. Bass plays with lots of toughness and is versatile since he can also play on the wing. However, he may find himself battling for a roster spot at training camp in the fall.
