The Minnesota Wild have announced that they have re-signed left wing Robbie Earl to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 32 games last season with Minnesota, he had six goals. He also appeared in 41 games with Houston of the AHL, scoring 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points. Really just a depth signing for the Wild, although Earl brings plenty of speed and versatility to the wing. He will likely battle for a fourth line role on the team next season at training camp in the fall.
