Capitals Sign Eric Fehr to Two-Year Contract
The Washington Capitals have announced that they have avoided arbitration with right wing Eric Fehr and signed him to a two-year contract worth $4.4 million. The deal averages out to $2.2 million per season. In 69 games last season with Washington he had 21 goals and 18 assists for 39 points. Not a bad signing for the Capitals, as Fehr is starting to develop into a quality scoring winger. He has good and improving offensive skills and can also score goals. He should be a decent top nine, maybe even top six forward for the team next season depending on how he performs offensively.
