Lightning Sign Pierre-Cedric Labrie to Two-Year Deal

The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that they have signed left wing Pierre-Cedric Labrie to a two-year, two-way contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. He was assigned to Tampa Bay's AHL affiliate in Norfolk after the signing. In 28 games so far this season with Norfolk, he has six goals and 12 assists for 18 points and 63 penalty minutes. He has yet to appear in an NHL game. This is really just a depth signing for the Lightning, as Labrie will likely spend the majority of the next two seasons in the minors.
