Sharks Sign Sean Sullivan to One-Year Extension

According to the hockeynews.com, the San Jose Sharks have signed defenseman Sean Sullivan to a one-year contract extension. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. He would have been an unrestricted free agent on July 1. In 73 games last season with Worcester of the AHL, he had 12 goals and 23 assists for 35 points. He has yet to appear in an NHL game. This is really just a depth signing for the Sharks, as Sullivan will likely spend all of next season in the minors.
