Blue Jackets Claim Colton Gillies Off Waivers
The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced that they have claimed left wing Colton Gillies off waivers from the Minnesota Wild. In 37 games with the Wild this season, has has two assists. Not a bad depth move for Columbus, as Gillies has lots of speed, good size, and some forechecking skill. However, he has struggled quite a bit at the NHL level and likely won't make much of an impact to the current Blue Jackets roster.
