Lightning Acquire Bruno Gervais from NY Islanders

The Tampa Bay Lightning announced on Saturday that they have acquired defenseman Bruno Gervais from the New York Islanders in exchange for future considerations. He is eligible for restricted free agency on July 1. In 53 games last season, he had six assists. Not a bad depth move for the Lightning, as Gervais will add some much needed puck-moving skill to the blueline. Although, he will more than likely be a sixth or seventh depth defenseman for the team next season.
