Stars Sign Brad Lukowich, Re-Sign Ludwig, Fortunus, Sawada

The Dallas Stars have brought back a familiar face by signing defenseman Brad Lukowich to a one-year contract. He previously played with the Stars from 1997-2002. The team also announced that they have re-signed defensemen Trevor Ludwig and Maxime Fortunus and right wing Raymond Sawada to one-year, two-way contracts. The financial terms of all four deals were not disclosed. Lukowich isn't a bad depth signing for the team, as he will bring plenty of experience to the blueline. Ludwig, Fortunus, and Sawada are really just depth moves for the Stars and will likely have to fight for roster spots at training camp.
