Stars Sign Free Agent Forward Travis Morin

The Dallas Stars have announced that they have signed center Travis Morin to a one-year, two-way contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In 80 games last season with Texas of the AHL, he had 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points. He has yet to play in an NHL game. Not a bad depth signing for the Stars, as Morin will bring plenty of scoring depth to Texas, although he will likely spend most of next season playing in the AHL.
